0.13.4 Release Notes

This Thursday we release the new version 0.13.4. Check out the changes!

CHANGES

ARMOR MAINTENANCE

  • All armor now has a maximum efficiency of 100% and a total of 30 durability
  • After a round, the armor’s durability is subtracted by 1
  • When armor loses durability, its efficiency drops. For example: When a piece of armor’s durability range is from 30-15, the efficiency is 100%, but when the durability range is from 14-8 the efficiency is 80%
  • The following lists the relation between the armor efficiency and durability:
    • Armor efficiency 100% > durability 30-15
    • Armor efficiency 80% > durability 14-8
    • Armor efficiency 50% > durability 7-2
    • Armor efficiency 20% > durability 1
  • A player can repair armor to restore durability

NEW ARMOR UPGRADES

  • Armor inserts have been removed from the game
  • Permanent Armor Upgrades have been introduced
  • Armor Upgrades do not have durability
  • Armor Upgrades are bound to armor and are not transferable

MATCH COMPLETION RATE INDICATOR

  • Players can now see other players’ match completion rates in the match lobby
  • Match completion rate will only start tracking now, which means existing players who have quit many matches in the past can start afresh
  • Match completion rate will only appear after playing 5 matches (from the release of the patch)
  • Crashes and disconnects will factor into the completion rate statistic

10 SECOND WAIT TO QUIT MATCH

  • There is now a 10 second wait before a player can quit a match

ATHENA RATING LEADERBOARD RANK CHANGES FOR BANNED PLAYERS

  • Banned players will now go to the bottom of the Athena Rank leaderboard
  • After the duration of the ban is over, players can regain their placement on the leaderboard by completing a match

BUG FIXES

The following issues have been fixed:

  • When a player logs out from the game a second time, the sound volume no longer suddenly increases to the maximum
  • Chat windows are no longer hidden when killed while typing in the chat window
  • Fireteam members will no longer show up twice if invited twice via either the chat command or right clicking the player name in the chat window
  • Avatars no longer overlap the XP/RP Boost list
  • Text headers are now consistent between Squad 1 and Squad 2 in the Match Lobby
  • Remove Button text no longer overlaps in Clan invites within the inbox
  • The number of leaderboard rows is now updated after login
  • Tooltips on child buttons are no longer destroyed if their parent button does not display any tooltip

UP-COMING CHANGES

The following changes are under investigation for future releases:

  • Win Streak Rewards: Cumulative rewards which increase for every match a user successfully completes, if the user leaves a match they lose any rewards they will have accumulated and the streak is set back to 0. Example: XP/RP % increase per match up to a certain cap, if the user leaves then the bonus is set back to 0. Details must be finalized.
  • AR Hotjoin Improvements: Players are currently penalized for hotjoining losing teams, this is unfair and encourages players to quit before the end of the match. We will revise the calculations for hotjoined players.
