NEW: IN-GAME TACTICAL TEAMS


ABOUT TACTICAL TEAM

  • Tactical team is a group of maximum 4 players in a squad, formed to facilitate small group tactics and improve team coordination
  • With the tactical team, players can form small groups in-game without the restrictions of a lobby “Fireteam” where they must be grouped before the match starts
  • Tactical team members have extended Cross-Com link and Squad Support ranges
    • 25 meters for tactical team members
    • 15 meters for other squad members

TACTICAL TEAM ASSIGNMENT

  • Players are automatically assigned to tactical teams when they load into a public or clan match. Players in a fire team are assigned to the same tactical team
  • In a squad, there are four pre-created tactical teams
  • Players can change to these tactical teams in the respawn screen (Tactical Team tab):
    • Whiskey (W)
    • X-Ray (X)
    • Yankee (Y)
    • Zulu (Z)
  • Players cannot leave a tactical team unless he quits a match

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE TACTICAL TEAM AND FIRE TEAM

  • Fire team
    • A group formed by players by invitation in the match lobby
    • Players in  the same fire team can be in different tactical teams
    • Group persists after matches
  • Tactical Team
    • A group of squad members automatically formed in-game
    • Facilitates team coordination; have green HUD elements and extended cross-com link and squad support range
    • Group persists between rounds, but is lost after a match

VIEWING TACTICAL TEAM

  • Players can view tactical team assignment in scoreboard and in the Tactical Team tab in the respawn screen
  • Enemy's tactical team assignment is hidden
  • HUD elements for tactical team members appears in green

MATCH COMPLETION STREAK EXPIRY

  • Match Completion Streak resets to 0 after an hour of inactivity (no matches played)
  • Expiry timer starts when a player completes a match

RP EARNINGS DISPLAY

  • % amount of boost or match completion bonus is now displayed under RP earnings in post-match screen

MONETIZATION UPDATES

  • Reduction of prices for most helmets

BUG FIXES

  • Grenades now do not bounce back  when thrown from covers 

KNOWN ISSUES

  • The display name and some tooltips related to the "P90 SD WAR" are sometimes incorrect and the weapon will is shown as P90 SP War. This is a name display issue that doesn't have any effect on gameplay.
